Marie Sondra (Berry) Parsons

Marie S. Parsons, 86 formerly of Valley View, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023. Born March 24, 1937 in Cleveland to the late Carlton and Helen (Cali) Berry, she lived most of her life in Valley View before moving to Canal Fulton a few years ago. Marie had a strong faith and loved going to church. She loved baseball and softball, especially her Cleveland Indians. Marie enjoyed traveling, cooking and baking for others and spoiling her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Parsons, grandson, Adam Strong and brother, Carl Berry. Marie is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Ralph) Strong; son, Raymond (Linda) Parsons; grandchildren, Caty (Jeremy) Mundell, Lindsay Strong, Zach (Amanda) Strong and Michaela Strong; great-grandchildren, Bentley, Skylar, Lucas, Emma, Aurora and Benjamin.

Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, August 17, 2023, 6:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton. Visitation Thursday, 4pm to 6pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Private burial at West Richfield Cemetery.
