Marjorie Grace (Lipford) Nettle

Marjorie Grace Nettle, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away after an extended illness on Friday, March 10, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Nellie and Noah; her step-father, George Gruver; siblings, Carl, Virginia, and Bobbi; niece, Pamela, and great-nephew, Joshua.
Born on April 9, 1939 in Coventry, Ohio, she lived most of her life on Comet Road in Clinton, Ohio. She was a graduate of Manchester High School and maintained her high school friendships throughout her life. Soon after graduation, she married the love of her life, Earl Robert Nettle, and their marriage spanned 66 years.
Marge was a serious athlete and a fierce competitor. She was a featured twirler at Manchester High School, an accomplished bowler and equestrian, an amazing golfer, and a champion at corn hole. There was nothing she could not do.
She is survived by her loving husband, Earl, her son, Gregory (Julie) Nettle and her daughter, Gina Horner (Erik). Her favorite people in the whole world were her grandchildren: Tabitha, Jacob, Grace and Elijah. Most everyone called her Marge, and she was known for her kindness, her warm smile and her welcoming heart.
A worshiper of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and a long-time partner of RiverTree Christian Church (Jackson campus), she loved people into a relationship with Jesus, so that they could know Him, too. Her quiet and Godly influence was felt by many.
Marge was a special, special lady who enjoyed her beautiful life to its fullest, and when Jesus called, she went Home. She leaves behind family and friends who loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held SATURDAY, March 18, 2023, 11:00am at Orchard Hill Church, 2545 W. Comet Rd, Clinton. Calling Hours Saturday 9am to 11am at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to RiverTree Fairless, 7041 Kalp Ave, Navarre, OH 44662.
