Mary Alice Kraft, 78 of Canal Fulton, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023. Born January 27, 1945 in Orrville to the late Wilbert and Alice (Semelsberger) Young, she was a member of SS Philip and James Catholic Church and the Canal Fulton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Mary was a big sports fan especially when it came to watching her grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Guardians, following the NFL and was big into fantasy football.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kraft; brother, Donald Young and sister, Rita Jarvis. Mary is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Tim) Kolm and Chris (Troy) Freeman; Grandchildren: Doug (Rabecca) McKenzie, Michael McKenzie, Cory (Tracy) Freeman, Brandon (Kasey) Freeman, and Ashley Freeman (Spencer); Great-grandchildren: Evelyn Freeman, Audrey McKenzie, Ellie Freeman, August McKenzie, Cruz McKenzie, Daisy Freeman, Preston Freeman, Brody Freeman, Otto Freeman and one more on the way.
A Memorial Mass will be held SATURDAY, June 24, 2023, 11:00am at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 N. High St., Canal Fulton, Fr. Kevin McCaffrey celebrant. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
