Miriam Carol Maxwell Moore, 98, died Jan 30, 2024 at Crandall Medical Center in Copeland Oaks, Sebring, OH, where she passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Miriam was born in Rock Creek, OH. As a daughter of Methodist minister, Rev. Thomas Maxwell, and later the wife of a United Methodist minister, Homer Hubert Moore, she lived in a number of cities and towns throughout Ohio. Her longest residence was in Canal Fulton. She celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary in 1996 with her husband Rev. Homer H. Moore before he preceded her to heaven.
She loved her family, bridge, eating out, travel, and adventure; traveling to Europe, cruising, and seeing much of the U.S. She tried her hand at parasailing, white water rafting, and after looking forward to it for years, took her first balloon ride at age 92.
Survived by: Children, Terry (Carol) Moore, Tanya (Steve) Whitaker, Melody Lee, Mark (Linda) Moore, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
A small memorial service will be held later this spring.
