Nancy Joan (Belt) Corral

Nancy Joan (Belt) Corral, 85 of Canal Fulton, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022. She was born September 20, 1936 in Fairmont, WV to the late John and Freda Belt, Sr. Nancy was a majorette in high school and in college at Fairmont State University in West Virginia and passed her love of twirling on to her granddaughter. Nancy started her teaching career at a one room school house in Bunner’s Ridge, WV then went on to teach for 28 years at Canal Fulton Elementary. She was a former member of Canal Fulton United Methodist Church and enjoyed being part of the Canal Fulton Garden Club. She hated golfing, driving a stick shift and camping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Nick Corral Jr. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Cathy Corral; son, John Corral; granddaughter, Rachel Deininger; brother, Jack (Carla) Belt and boyfriend, Mick Jagger. Visitation will be held THURSDAY, April 14, 2022, 4pm to 7pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton.
