Pamela Irene (Ward) Durell

 Pamela Irene (Ward) Durell age 68 of Dalton Ohio passed away on Wednesday June 16th 2021 after a long battle with COPD. Born identical twin sister to Debra Jean Ward on September 23, 1952 in Barberton Ohio. She is preceded in death by her mother Alice Ward, father Willard Ward of Clinton Ohio and brother Allen Ward of Millersburg Ohio. She is survived by her husband Alan Durell, sister Debra (Ward) Rourke of Canal Fulton Ohio, brother Brian Ward of Akron Ohio, brother Michael Conrad of Illinois, her daughters Deanna Brubaker of Canal Fulton Ohio and Renee Johnson of Milton Florida, son Keith Brubaker and wife Tiffany of Akron Ohio, son Jason Tyo of Akron Ohio, stepdaughter Aimee Cooper and husband John of Akron Ohio, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She had a passion for gardening. She waited anxiously for Spring and had names for many of the plants that came back every year. She was fiercely devoted to family and had a warm, kind smile that endeared her to everyone. Her love of the holidays was contagious and inspiring. Every opportunity to gather her family to her and show them her love was a joyous occasion. To her children, grandchildren, siblings, other relatives and friends… please make a special place in your heart and memory for her and celebrate her life as she loved and celebrated all of you. A Funeral Service will be held THURSDAY, June 24, 2021, 5:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, Jim Gindlesberger officiating. Calling Hours Thursday, 3pm to 5pm at the funeral home. Flowers or memorials may be made to the family.
