Patricia Ann (Gibson) Bahl

Patricia Ann Bahl, age 69, went home to be with her Lord on April 29, 2021. Patty was born on May 28, 1951, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to the late Charles and Mary Gibson. After graduating from Fairmont Sr. High School in 1969, she attended Fairmont State College, from which she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. She later met Charles Bahl, to whom she was married from 1976-1986 and with whom she had two sons. In July of 1986, Patty and her sons moved to northeast Ohio, where she lived until her passing. Over the course of her life, Patty worked as an administrative assistant for a number of companies, including Ansell Perry, the United Way of Greater Stark County, and the Marathon Petroleum Company. Besides her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Jr. She is survived by her sons, Chuck (Katrina) and Chad (Christy) Bahl; her grandchildren, Lukas, Timothy, and Leah; her brothers, Wes (Marilyn) and Dennis (Joyce) Gibson; and her sisters, Mary Jane Gibson and Rose Guy. Patty will always be remembered by those who knew her as an incredibly generous and caring person with a terrific sense of humor. She will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held FRIDAY, May 7, 2021, 11:00am at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. E. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton, her son, Chuck Bahl officiating. Burial at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Massillon. Calling Hours Thursday, 6pm to 8pm and also one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patty's name can be made to the United Way of Greater Stark County, 401 Market Ave N #300, Canton, OH 44702.
