February 13, 1920 – December 11, 2016
Ralph Sims, Sr., Ole Pap finally gave up the jigsaw puzzles to join his wife of 64 years, Dolly. Ralph was born in Little Birch, W.Va on Feb. 13, 1920. He served in the U.S. Army and was a WWII Veteran. He was hard working, family-loving and a gentle-soul. To know Ralph was to know a friend. He enjoyed gardening and sharing stories of growing up on his family's farm with no electric and horse-plowing the gardens. He loved the outdoors. He always looked forward to hunting and fishing with his sons and grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Sims; son, Richard, and daughters, Marie and Mary Margaret, he is survived by his sons Carl Sims (Debby), Ralph Sims Jr. (Patsy); William Sims (Sandy); step-son Ray Clemens (Jane), step-daughter, Doris Hill, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
