Richard "Rick" James Stock

Richard “Rick” Stock, 75 of Jackson Twp, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 30, 1947 to the late Anthony “Tommy” and Anna Stock and retired from Kent State after a long career in IT. Rick was a die-hard Steelers fan who enjoyed nothing more than reminding Dave that the Browns will never be a second-half team or win a Super Bowl. He loved cars, drag racing, bowling and golfing with his dad, also cooking for friends and family whether it be during tailgating events or family parties. He took great pride in being a Dad, Grandpa, God parent and friend. He was always ready with a quick joke or prank to make loved ones laugh; for a late-night phone call when you couldn’t sleep or just needed someone to listen. Rick was a lifelong learner who was always researching the latest topics and gadgets. He will be missed deeply and loved always by those who knew him.

Rick is survived by his daughters, Christina Stock and Samantha Ciarocco (spouse Ryan McHugh); grandchildren, Matthew and Jason; and his very large Strausser St. family.
