Robert A. “Bob” Workman, 86 of Canal Fulton, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 after a short illness. He was born May 7, 1935 to the late Alan and Hildred Workman. Bob was a long distance truck driver for 27 years, driving 2.7 million safe miles. In 1994 he cofounded B & R Transportation and retired in 2001. Bob was instrumental in starting the Northwest Touchdown Club in 1978 and never missed a high school game while his kids were playing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Workman; grandson, Rob Workman and sister, Mary Seitz. Bob is survived by his children, Pattie (Tom) Duncan; Bob Jr. (Michele), Rich (Karrie) and Mike “Sal” (Lori); grandchildren, Aaron, Curt (Brit), Justin, Seth, Spencer, Elliott, Brandon, Beau, McKenzie, Clay and Josh; great-grandchildren, Kynzley and Meredith; brother, Paul (Carolyn) Workman and sister, Geraldine Sours. Special Thanks to Tri-County Hematology and Oncology in Jackson Twp. for their care of Bob. Funeral Services will be held SATURDAY, May 7, 2022, 1:00pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, Jim Gindlesberger officiating. Burial at Canal Fulton Cemetery. Visitation Saturday, 11am to 1pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the American Diabetes Association.
