Robert P. (Bob) Hardy, (1930-2020) age 90, of Canal Fulton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 15, following an extended illness. Bob was preceded in death by parents Paul and Mildred Hardy; brother, Ronald Hardy, and sister, Delores Hardy. Left to cherish memories are his wife of 71 years, Bonnie; children, Paul (Sharon) Hardy, Cindy (Virgil) Durinsky, Linda (Jeff) Gaidos, Donna (Tim) Hardy/Weisenburger and Timothy Hardy. Grandchildren include Jennifer (Mark) Blyer, Rachel (Adam) Lefranc, Timothy M. Hardy, and Robert M. Hardy. Surviving siblings include brother, Richard Hardy, and sisters, Carlene Gaubetz and Shirley Watson.
Bob retired from Evans Baucom Advertising in 1995 where he was production manager of the screen print division. Prior employment was held with Screencraft Advertising in Barberton. Bob was a member of the Jackson Friends Church in Jackson Township, where he sang in the choir and was a greeter. Bob was also a singer with the gospel groups, The Kings Trio, for 17 years, Praise Three for 12 years and took great pleasure in spreading the gospel through song.
Due to Covid-19 private services will be held for the family with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Akron.
