Roberta Georgene (Roop) Hawk

Roberta Georgene Roop Hawk was called home to her Heavenly Father on June 4, 2022 surrounded by her family.
Roberta was born in Akron, OH to the late Reverend and Mrs. Robert E. Roop on May 27, 1937. She graduated from Springfield High School and went on to have a long career working for many wonderful companies such as Firestone Tire & Rubber, Astro-Tech, Co-Op Credit Union, Buckeye State Federal Credit Union, Akron Abstract Title Company and as the Village Clerk of Canal Fulton. 
When she was not busy giving her all at work, she was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for Troop 282, Cub Scout Leader for Pack 300, playing piano at multiple Assembly of God Churches, an avid gardener and an exceptional cook.
Roberta was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Canton, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Attorney Melvin R. Hawk, son, David C. Notch and sister, Marsha Roberts.
She will be sadly missed by son, Robert Notch (Mindy); daughter, Victoria Hawk; daughter-in-law, Lisa Notch; grandchildren, Rory and Rylan Notch, Victoria, Elisabeth and David Notch, Cierra and T.J. McInnes and great-grandson, Levi Notch; brother, Charles Roop and many nieces and nephews, family and friends. 
The family would like to share their heartfelt gratitude to Roberta's niece, Heidi Roberts for her tireless and loving care.
Funeral Services will be held THURSDAY, June 9, 2022, 12:00pm (Noon) at Grace Fellowship Church, 6282 Nave St. SW, Canton, OH with Pastor Keith Stephens officiating. Calling Hours, Thursday 10am to 12pm at the church prior to the service.
