Ruth M. (Gibbs) Rasnake

Ruth Marie Rasnake, age 96, passed away peacefully November 26, at the Inn at University Village in Massillon after a period of declining health. Ruth was born in Canal Fulton to the late Martin W. and Elsie A. Gibbs. She graduated from Canal Fulton High School in 1944 and lived in the Clinton/Canal Fulton area until 1976. Ruth worked as a teller at the bank in Clinton for 23 years. Ruth married her soulmate Donald E. Rasnake in 1965. Don and Ruth lived briefly in Memphis, TN and Houston, TX before retiring in Orlando, FL. Ruth moved back to Ohio in 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald, her son Ronald L. Schriber of Creston, her sister and brother in-law Mabel and Charles Jeffries of Clinton, her brother and sister in-law John and Ruby Gibbs of Rittman. 
She is survived by her son Randall (Christina) Schriber of Minerva, granddaughter Dr. Rebecca Russell of 
Wooster, grandson Ronald “Tuffy” (Dawn) Schriber of Creston, great grandchildren Layla, Landrey and Loudon Russell and Ronald Wesley Schriber, nephews Daniel (Cheryl) Gibbs of West Salem, John (Linda) Gibbs of West Salem plus numerous great nephews and nieces.
A private, family graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
