Teresa Rose (Ballarin) Sudimak

Teresa (Tarie) Rose Sudimak passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, August 28th 2023. Teresa was born on February 27th 1951 in Steubenville Ohio.  She was a devout Roman Catholic her entire life.  After graduating from Jefferson High School, she moved to Akron for college.  Teresa attended the University of Akron and earned a B.A. in Political Science in 1973. She spent her entire adult life in Akron and worked as a unit secretary for Akron City Hospital for forty years, retiring in 2012.

Teresa was married to her beloved husband, Dennis, for forty-four years. She was a very devoted wife and life partner for her husband.  Together, they raised two sons, Mark and Vincent. She was a selfless woman, always putting the concerns of others before herself. She gave her two sons everything they could possibly want in life.

When not spending time with family, Teresa greatly enjoyed reading and cultivating her green thumb.  She also loved to travel, a passion she instilled in her children.  In her later years,  she enjoyed spending her time at home with her husband and their cat, Smokey.

She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Margaret Ballarin; and her sister Cheryl Wilkinson. She is survived by her husband Dennis Sudimak; and sons, Mark Sudimak and Vincent Sudimak.

Teresa will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and commitment to helping others. She was a loving wife and mother, and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.  A true bright spot in this world.

A private ceremony for family was held on Friday at Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home in Canal Fulton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pawsitive Hope Inc., 1348 Easthill St. SE, North Canton, OH 44720.
