Walter Heishman Obituary

Walter J. Heishman, 78 of North Lawrence formerly of Sandusky, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021. He was born January 27, 1943 in Sandusky, OH to the late Franklin and Ruth (Newman) Heishman and retired from Mosser Construction after many years of service. Walter was a proud Navy veteran having served with the Seabees. He was a member of the Orrville American Legion Frank E. Cook Post 282 and loved being outdoors. Walter was the rock of the family and loved spending time with his family, especially his great-granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Walter R. Heishman. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Pat (Smith) Heishman; daughters, Kimberly (Edward) Heishman-Donahue and Teri (Mark) Michael; 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Heishman and sister, Pam Roeser.
Private Services were held for the family with burial at Newmans Creek Cemetery.
