Ronald J. "Ronnie" Steiner, 72, passed away October 21, 2017. He was born in Canton, Ohio, and was a lifetime resident of Canal Fulton. He graduated from Northwest High School in 1963. He belonged to the Sheet Metal Workers International Association and was employed as a sheet metal worker throughout his working years. An avid train enthusiast and collector, he was a member of Train Club of America and Lionel Collectors Club of America. He was also a member and former board member of Luna Lake Club as well as the Flying Tigers Snowmobile Club. He enjoyed driving his cars and cushmans and had a reputation for the cleanest vehicles in town. He was a lifetime member of Sts. Philip and James Parish. Preceded in death by parents Edward and Justina Steiner, brother Donald Steiner and sister Sister Doris Steiner, SND and H.M. Ronnie is survived by wife Jean Steiner and son Matthew Steiner as well as many family members and friends. He will be fondly remembered and missed by many. Mass of the Christian Burial, Thursday, 11:00 am at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, 412 High St. N. Canal Fulton with Fr. Kevin McCaffrey celebrant. Visitation WEDNESDAY 4 pm to 7 pm at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 Cherry St. East (Rt. 93,) Canal Fulton.
